Us, circa 2008... Norman hasn't had locks for a while.
Through a mutual friend, on Facebook in 2007. Seriously, that's the story in a nutshell.
Together we've survived an economic recession, being laid off (both of us! but not at the same time) and subsequent brokeness, my (Leila's) crazy career change, constantly re-defining and re-evaluating who we are, losing close friends, experiencing family difficulties, death of loved ones, road tripping to Washington DC in below 0 degree weather to watch Barack Obama's inauguration, having our tires blow out at 2:00 a.m. on said road trip.
Through all of this, we have loved, laughed and learned that we work better together than alone.
And we are looking forward to spending our days together.
